FAQ
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST DAY?
- You will meet with Dr. Davis, who will review with you your medical, psychiatric, and family history, discussing your symptoms and main concerns. Together, you'll explore the option of medication and, if needed, she'll send prescriptions to your pharmacy or make referrals for additional treatments.
Do you accept insurance?
- We do not accept insurance as a form of payment. We work with Reimbursify to help our patients receive reimbursement using out of network benefits from their insurance company. Reimbursify is a company that will take your insurance information and for a small fee, will submit out of network claims with your insurance company for you. We can also provide a superbill or billing statement that you can send to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
- Please note that the reimburesement from your insurer is not guaranteed. We suggest that you contact your insurer before beginning the process.
What are your fees?
- Our fees are as follows: $150 per 30 minute medication management appointment and $350 for 90 minute initial psychiatric evaluation.
- Please call within 24 hour business day prior to your appointment to avoid a late fee. If you cancel or reschedule without 1 business day notice, you are responsible for 100% of the cost of the appointment.
What ages do you treat?
- We treat ages 18 and up
WHAT MEDICATION OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
- Dr. Davis employs a diverse range of medications, adhering to FDA guidelines and utilizing the latest evidence-based practices in medication management for treating mental health conditions.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR ADJUSTING OR CHANGING MY MEDICATION?
- Medications may require adjustments in dosage or timing or a different medication may be better suited for you. Everyone is unique. If you have questions or concerns regarding your medication, simply reach out to us in the patient portal and we will get back to you within one business day. You also have the option to schedule a visit with your provider for further evaluation and discussion.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE OR RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
- Our online scheduling system makes scheduling easy. Simply click on the Book Now button to get started and choose a time that best fits your schedule. Additionally, you can always call or email us for assistance.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
- When you book an appointment, that time is reserved and held exclusively for you. Due to this, cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a full charge if not received at least 24 hours in advance.
- If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.
DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH?
- Yes! For individuals within the state of Arizona, telehealth is available. While I love meeting clients in person, I know with our busy schedules, this isn't always possible, and telehealth offers flexibility to meet with your psychiatrist from the comfort of your own home or at work.
- You will receive an email ahead of your appointment time with instructions to login and will receive a reminder email 10 minutes prior to your telehealth appointment.
- Your appointments are secure and confidential and performed on HIPPA compliant software.
